IMMIGRATION & NATURALIZATION SERVICES
Immigrant Welcome Center (IWC) is an organization designed for the Indianapolis immigrant population. They offer help through their volunteer Natural Helpers in 200 languages if you need medical or legal assistance. IWC also offers Citizenship classes and community partnerships.
Naturalization is the legal process through which a foreign citizen or national can become a U.S. citizen. In order to be naturalized, an applicant must first meet certain criteria to apply for citizenship. Then, the applicant must complete an application, attend an interview, and pass an English and a civics test.
This 16-minute USCIS video shows a live example of the entire U.S. citizenship interview. It presents most of the questions taken from the N400 form. It also presents how the Civics Test, Reading Test, and Writing Test are administered during the interview.
