Overview of Career Training Process at Wayne Adult Education:
Thank you for your interest in career training with Wayne Township Adult Education. We have built the career training program with provider and employer partnerships to connect our students to real opportunities within the field.
Because there are many students interested in career training and limited funding, earning a scholarship is part of a competitive process.

Here are the ESSENTIAL steps you need to take:
1) Download the Wayne Township Adult Education scholarship application below. Follow the instructions and fill it out completely. This packet contains the mandatory elements for your scholarship eligibility.

*Our staff is currently on summer break. If you need assistance, please bring all questions to our Wayne Township Adult Ed Career Training Open Help Lab July 10 from 12:30PM - 6:30PM at Ben Davis University, 1155 S High School Road. Please enter through DOOR #2.
2) Sign up on the waiting list.
Go to adulted.info/career-training-options to view the career training options and put your name on the list.
3) Take the placement test and on July 20 and 21 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM to see if you have qualifying scores.
*Steps 1 and 2 above need to be completed prior to taking the placement test. Those whose scholarship packets are incomplete will NOT be eligible for pre-testing.
At the end of the process, WTAE will announce the slate of candidates that qualify for full scholarship and supportive services assistance for fully-funded career training!
