Cap Pick Up: 

Graduates will need to pick up their free cap prior to graduation. Cap and gown pick up is:

• June 1-4
• 8:30am-5:30pm
• Ben Davis University High School, Door #2 (1155 S High School Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46241)

A favorite graduation tradition is decorating your graduation cap! (Gowns will be provided prior to graduation ceremony the day of graduation.) Show off your creativity, share your story, and celebrate your journey. From inspirational quotes to glittery designs, we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

GRADUATION DAY – JUNE 6, 2026:   

Graduates will need to arrive at Ben Davis High School Gymnasium, (1200 N Girls School Rd Indianapolis, IN 46214, Door #2) at 7:15am.
*Those who arrive late may be ineligible to walk in the ceremony.

• Graduates should leave personal items at home or with a guest, as there will not be a locked storage space available to us during the ceremony.
• If you have children attending, please make arrangements to have someone sit with them, as children cannot be left unattended during the ceremony, and they will not be allowed in the staging area.
• Guests may begin seating at 8AM and all must be seated by 8:45am.

For Guests & Graduates: 

To help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all attendees:

• Outside food and beverages with the exception of food for infants are not permitted.

• Duffel bags, sports bags, large purses, backpacks, coolers, drawstring bags, and large diaper bags are prohibited in the Ben Davis High School Gymnasium.

• Bags are permitted only if small in size and will be subject to inspection at the entrance.
