Dr. Debra E. Daniels
Brief Biography

I attended Purdue Calumet where I received a B. S. degree in Management – Human Resources with a Minor in English. As a continuation of my education I completed the M. S. degree in Education – Curriculum Development, (also at Purdue Calumet) and a Doctorate degree – Education Leadership. During my education at Purdue I worked several jobs including Academic Advisor. I have experience working with the Marion County and Lake County Prosecutor’s Offices, Child Support Divisions. I worked with the Indiana Department of Correction and served as Substitute Teacher, Instructional Assistant and Community Aide for various school districts.

I worked at Goodwill of Central Indiana for 16 years, where I worked with an In-school Youth Program as Youth Case Manager. One of my favorite duties at Goodwill was facilitating Work Readiness workshops. Over the years I secured several promotions and ended my tenure as the Director for a nationally renowned Drop-Prevention Program, serving high school youth in five Marion County schools. I have experience working with AYS, a Before/After Care Provider. My most recent experience has been working with MSD Wayne Township as a Paraprofessional and Special Education Teacher. I also worked as a Substitute Teacher for several school districts. I found that I came full circle when I returned to Wayne in the role of Paraprofessional.
