Emily Barlow is passionate about teaching and learning. With over 20 years of teaching experience in both the U.S. and Bolivia, she has worked with teens and adults, first language English speakers and English Language learners, those who find learning exciting and those who feel exhausted by it. She loves the diversity of people around her and believes everyone has something they can share with others. In 2015, Emily earned her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. She has been with Wayne Township Adult Education since 2021 and has taught Math, Science, Social Studies, and Digital Literacy. Emily’s desire is that everyone who steps into her classroom experiences her compassion for them as people and her hope for them as learners. The HSE journey is rarely ever easy, but it is worth it!
