Holding an Associate’s Degree and certification in Surgical Technology, Teayon Richardson has built a career rooted in clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and professional development.

In addition to being a Certified Surgical Technologist, Teayon Richardson also holds both the CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) and CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certifications, demonstrating advanced expertise in sterile processing, instrumentation, and healthcare standards.

Currently serving as the Lead Educator for 19 Ascension facilities, Teayon Richardson oversees education and training initiatives that support sterile processing teams across multiple healthcare locations. Through leadership, mentorship, and a passion for continuous improvement, Teayon Richardson plays a key role in developing student competencies, promoting industry best practices, and ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the organization.
