International and Local Trained Professionals

Praxis Prep Program

This program is specifically designed to bridge the gap for talented foreign-trained educators seeking to continue their passion for teaching here in Indiana and for US trained professionals needing support in obtaining licensure. Individuals who are accepted into this program must hold a four year degree either from a US institution or a foreign institution.  We provide a comprehensive and supportive pathway to state certification, equipping you with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in an American classroom.

Our curriculum focuses on preparing you to successfully pass the Indiana PRAXIS licensure exams, including the Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT) and your specific content area test. You will receive instruction on test-taking strategies, U.S. teaching pedagogy, and effective classroom management techniques.   Students enrolled in this program will also have an intensive review with a life coach and a navigator who will help them throughout the process.
To ensure you are at the forefront of modern education, the program also integrates crucial technology training. You will learn the fundamentals of leveraging Artificial Intelligence in your teaching practice and gain proficiency in the Google Suite for Education, a vital toolset for today’s schools.
Upon completion, you will not only be prepared for your licensure exams but will also possess the confidence and contemporary skills needed to secure a teaching position and make a lasting impact on students in Indiana. Join us to restart your teaching career and enrich our schools with your global perspective.

  • Any prior Pearson or Praxis test score reports –
Indiana requires approved content and pedagogy tests for licensure. If you have taken Pearson or Praxis tests, please submit your scores to our office for review. If you have not taken any licensure tests, you may apply without them. If you need to take a test, the required tests and test numbers will be listed in your evaluation letter.
